Tracey Avery combines her consutling work across the creative industries with teaching meditation and mindfulness practices.
Tracey’s work varies from helping owners of culturally significant places and collections to define and prioritise management actions, to teaching mindfulness techniques to leadership teams looking to boost their creativity and resilience.
Biography
Tracey’s well-honed skills of observation, focus and curiosity are central to her practices.
Tracey works as a consultant across the arts and heritage sectors, helping clients to optimise the management of their cultural assets.
Tracey has held curatorial and management roles in cultural and conservation organisations in the UK and Australia, and senior executive roles leading heritage in state governments. She has tertiary qualifications across science (zoology and psychology), art gallery and museum studies, and a PhD in design history. She is an alumnus of the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership program, a graduate of the Company Directors Course (Australian Institute of Company Directors), and was a Member of the former Victorian Design Review Panel within the Office of the Victorian Government Architect (2016-2025).
Tracey is also a certified meditation and mindfulness teacher, with additional specialist qualifications in meditation and mindfulness for Corporate and Workplace settings, Nature Connection, and Parents and Children.
